In general, your personal information will generally be processed for the following purposes: to present a whole complete profile to potential clients in order to inform them of your experience and contact details for engagement.
We will undertake fraud checks via use of your personal information. This will involve sharing and working with Fraud Prevention Agencies. We do so to protect our own commercial interests (which is encompassed within our own legitimate interests as a business).
In general, your information will be used for fraud prevention purposes: to verify your identity and right to work in the UK.
Fraud prevention agencies can hold your personal information for different periods of time, the maximum period being six years.

We envisage that your personal information shall be retained by us as follows: for the period of one year beyond becoming inactive (not applying to any work) in the case of a freelancer, and for the period of 7 years beyond de-activating a subscription for a business, to comply with accounting practices.
After the period described above, your information shall be properly deleted or anonymised.

The Platform is hosted with established infrastructure providers who maintain recognised security certifications. Data is encrypted in transit and access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We do not hold payment card details, which are processed by our partner Stripe, and we do not retain passport or other ID documentation submitted at registration, which is handled by our identity verification partner Veriff — please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
We have proper procedures in place to deal with any data security breach, which shall be reported and dealt with in accordance with data protection laws and regulations. You shall also be notified of any suspected data breach concerning your personal information.
Our website is not intended for children (anybody under the age of 18). We do not intend to collect data from children.
