Everything you need to know about finding flexible hospitality and retail shifts, getting verified, and getting paid fast with ResolveUK.
Signing up takes a few minutes. Create your free account at app.resolveuk.co/sign-up, tell us a little about your experience, and complete your identity and right-to-work checks. Once you are verified you can start applying for shifts straight away.
You will need a valid form of photo ID and documents that prove your right to work in the UK, such as a passport, a biometric residence permit, or a share code. Having these ready before you sign up makes verification quick and easy.
No. ResolveUK is only open to people with an unrestricted right to work in the UK. If your visa limits the number of hours you may work — for example a student visa — or restricts the type of work you can do, you will not be able to take shifts through the platform. This is checked during right-to-work verification.
Every freelancer on ResolveUK completes identity and right-to-work verification before taking a shift. You will be asked to upload a photo of your ID and take a quick selfie so we can confirm it is really you. The process is secure and usually completed within minutes.
You get paid within 24 hours of a completed shift. No waiting weeks for a pay cycle: finish your shift, get it confirmed, and your earnings are on their way to you the next day.
We cover both hospitality and retail. Hospitality roles include waiter, bartender, barista, kitchen porter, host and events staff, while retail roles include sales assistant, stockroom and warehouse support, and more. There is a wide mix of shifts across London and the UK.
Browse available shifts in the app, filter by role, location and date, and apply to the ones that suit you with a single tap. Businesses review applicants and confirm the freelancers they want, so you will be notified as soon as you are booked.

Life happens, and you can cancel a confirmed shift from the app. We ask that you give as much notice as possible so the business has time to find cover. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows can affect your rating and your access to future shifts, so cancel early whenever you can.
After each shift, the business can rate your performance based on reliability, attitude and the quality of your work. Your overall rating is the average of this feedback. A strong rating helps you stand out to other venues and unlocks more opportunities.
